Cord Cable

How do I hide an ugly cable cord that runs all the way around my living room floor?

It is thick and black and stands out horribly against my pale beige carpet and walls. We cannot move the cable jack to the other side of the room and it is the only place to put the TV. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I believe you are not able to hide the cable under your carpet, if not you should have already done so.
Have you consider running plastic trunking around your wall to hide the cable?
It good because it can be paint over whatever your wall color is.
And future cable can hide inside too.
