What’s The Best 19 Inch Lcd Tv Out There?

I’ve been looking at some Samsung, Sharp and Insignia models. Which ones are good, and is there anywhere I can buy used or refurbished models?

Normally I recommend Samsung, Sharp or LG, but that’s for 32″ and larger. For LCDs smaller than 32″, the cheapest good quality models for less than $500 will do just fine, because the smaller screen sizes don’t demand the absolute best technology to look good.
The best is Toshiba, IF you can still get one without the built in DVD player. No. 2 Is Sharp. No.3 is Samsung. No.4 is – NOTHING! The rest in the 19″ LCD HDTV field is crap, including Insignia. IMHO, do NOT buy used of refurbished. You are just asking for someone else’s problems.
If you were to move up to 26″, the best in both performance and reliability are then Panasonic and Sony.
BTW, you might ask the “Qualified TV Technician” in answer number 2 to give a current model number for Sony and NEC 19″ LCD HDTVs! lol
NEC , SONY , or SAMSUNG.
Anything else is a piece of crap
