Hdtv Tuner
i am about to buy a lcd hdtv MONITOR.Will i be able to use a vcr to watch cable tv instead of a tuner?
since lcd hdtv monitors dont have built in tv tuners, and i would have to buy an external hdtv tuner to watch either digital or regular tv. I was wondering if i can use a vcr that has an RF port, and connect it to my monitor to watch regular tv. Will that work just as well?

anyway, yes, most likely. you’ll have to run the coax cable in from your wall and plug it into “antenna in”
then run a composite (red, white, and yellow) cable from your VCR’s “A(udio)/V(ideo)” out and into your TV’s A/V in.
viola! now, just try to remember where you put that dang remote! shoot!
