Dlp Hdtv

I have a dark vertical area app. 1 inch wide on the left side of my Samsung 56″ DLP HDTV.?

I have the same area when i use the PC option(tv as monitor) but it’s not as wide as on the cable input.
There is no knob anywhere on the back of this tv. I managed to get the problem solved in PC mode. Now i have an off center pc page. As for tv, i am stumped. I guess i will wait for more answers.

I’ll BET you can see the picture BEHIND the dark area……

One of the mirrors in your LIGHT TUNNEL has fallen off.
Replace the LIGHT TUNNEL, adjust it, and you’re back in business….
Unfortunately, that does require a TV TECH, preferably a Samsung Authorized repair shop. They know how to replace the light tunnel and not stick you with a $1000 LIGHT ENGINE !
