how much better is an HD tube TV over a non HD LCD tv?
well i live in china and they do sell 1080i tube sets

I have a 34″ Sony 16:9 HD tube TV model KV-34HS420. The picture quality for 1080i content is just as good as any LCD or Plasma on the market today, probably better. The big minus is the size and weight of the unit as it is over 200 lbs.

I don’t see much point in buying an LCD that isn’t HD or any TV for that matter.
