i would say that it’s probably dell as most people have a dell or hp but yes for stand alone monitors samsung or maybe LaCie but they are very expensive i have a 19″ CRT and i prefer it to my two 24″ lcd’s

It depends on the input. If theres hdmi or vga,component on the screen you can play playstation, yes

A 19″ should be minimum 1440×900 resolution, minimum 1500:1 contrast ratio, and minimum 5ms response time.
My 22″ runs on 1900 x 1200 resolution, 3000:1 contrast ratio, and 2ms response time (and cost me $380).
can you play PS3 games on LCD monitors?
24″ inch monitors are the way to go!
